Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library Seminar Series
"Building a Better Relationship With Your Dog Through Training"
These seminars are fun, informative 2-hour sessions on a variety of topics of interest to pet people. All seminars will be held at the Topeka-Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 SW 10th Street, Topeka. These are PEOPLE ONLY seminars (leave your dog at home, please). Demo dogs will be there to show how the games and skills are taught.
The seminars for 2009 are concluded already, but we plan to do more in late 2009 or early 2010. If you have a topic you think would make a good seminar, please let us know. Here are the ones we did in 2008 - 2009:
--“H.E.L.P! How to Educate those continuously Learning Puppies and pooches"
--"Avoiding Pet Peeves with Your Pooch: Setting Your Dog Up for Success"
--"Canine As a Second Language: Communicating with Your Dog"
--"Dogs Just Gotta Have Fun! Games, Tricks, and Training to Enrich Your Dog's Life"
--Training a Really Reliable Recall”
--“Clicker Training: From Dolphins To Dogs”
--“Walking On a Loose Leash: Let the Heeling Begin!”
Here are some of the comments we received from Library seminar participants:"Fabulous!"

Again, if you have a question or issue you think would make a good seminar topic, please let us know.
