Puppy Classes
Class dates and times:
The next class will be held from 7:00—8:00 PM on April 21, 28, May
5, 12, 19, 2010. All classes are on Wednesday evenings. Please do not
bring your puppy to the first (April 21) session.
Cost:
Tuition for the class is $125, which includes a class manual. Enrollment
is limited to 5 pups.
Eligibility:
This class is for puppies, from eight weeks to 20 weeks as of the start
of class.
Class curriculum:
Puppy class will cover the following topics and more:

all good dogs should know: Sit, Down, Come, and walking on a loose
leash |
People
are cool: socializing your puppy |
| Doggie
social skills: playing well with others |
Those
teeth! Puppy mouthing and bite inhibition |
| Crate
expectations: learning to love the crate |
Let
the games begin! Activities for exercise and mental stimulation
(and ones to avoid) |
| Kongs
are king: good chew toys will save your sanity (and your furniture) |
Puppies

NOTE: Puppies must be current on all vaccinations. Family members are
welcome to attend, but children younger than 10 years must be accompanied
and supervised by a responsible person other than the designated puppy
handler. We encourage all family members to work with the puppy at home,
but for best results only one person should handle the puppy during class.
