PET MANNERS: A Positive and Practical Approach to Pet Training
We're now offering our training manual, PET MANNERS:  a Positive and Practical Approach to Pet Training, for sale through this website. This easy-to-follow program offers 100+ pages of explanation and instruction to help you turn your dog into an attentive and well-mannered pet. It's the manual we use in our private consultations and in our popular Helping Hands Humane Society group classes.

The gentle but highly effective techniques described in the PET MANNERS manual are the ones we use with our own dogs as well as our clients' dogs. All the skills are taught with positive, reward-based methods--the kind of training that makes your dog love to work!In addition to the basic program, PET MANNERS includes information about chew toys, housetraining, fears and phobias, how to be your dog's leader, and more! Plus, we've also included the extensive homework guide and refrigerator charts we use in our group classes. The homework guide summarizes how to teach each skill, and the refrigerator charts let you easily track your progress from week to week.To order, send a check or money order for $23.20 plus $5 shipping & handling (Kansas residents add $1.80 sales tax) to:
